Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Total Ascension Group is seeking motivated and experienced Licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Electricians to join our growing team. We perform a wide range of commercial, industrial, multifamily, and specialized electrical projects throughout Oklahoma and surrounding areas.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Commercial, industrial, multifamily, and specialized electrical installation

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, electrical schematics, and project specifications

• Installation of conduit systems including EMT, rigid conduit, and related raceway systems

• Wiring and terminations for systems ranging from 120V to 480V

• Installation of lighting, switchgear, transformers, motor controls, panels, and related electrical equipment

• Troubleshooting and completing electrical systems safely and efficiently

• Working independently or alongside project teams to maintain project schedules and production goals

• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work environments at all times

• Demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and strong communication on jobsites

• Assisting with training, mentoring, and supporting apprentices and fellow team members

• Contributing positively to company culture by promoting teamwork, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement

• Helping develop and encourage others while supporting a collaborative team environment

• Following company safety procedures and OSHA regulations at all times

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License required

• Strong understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes

• Ability to perform electrical work with minimal supervision

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

• Ability to travel as required for projects

• Must possess tools required by company tool list

• Successfully complete pre-employment screening

• Strong work ethic, professionalism, leadership qualities, and communication skills

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Self-motivated with a strong desire for growth and long-term success

Work Environment & Schedule

This position may require working in commercial, industrial, multifamily, and specialized construction environments both indoors and outdoors under varying jobsite conditions.

Standard working hours are typically scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; however, schedules may vary depending on project requirements, deadlines, jobsite needs, or customer demands. Overtime and adjusted work hours may occasionally be required.

Some travel may be required depending on project location and operational needs.

This role may also require:

• Standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces

• Working at heights while following proper safety procedures

• Lifting and moving materials, tools, and equipment as necessary

• Maintaining safe work practices and professional jobsite conduct at all times

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience, performance, leadership, and skill level. Licensed Journeyman Electricians typically range from $32–$38/hour, with opportunities for advancement, bonuses, profit sharing, and long-term career growth.
